Lison’s vineyards lie on a plain between the Tagliamento and Livenza, near the Venetian coast. The specification describes alluvial soils with a clay-rich surface and a layer locally called caranto beneath it. Tai is the principal grape. The denomination also allows the Classico designation, giving the full label a more precise local meaning.
