At the table
The stuffed version uses a meat filling and a coating of flour, egg and breadcrumbs, with frying as the final preparation. Chicken or turkey is an optional addition to the protected filling.
Our suggestion: buy brined olives for a stuffing recipe, rather than treating the freshly harvested fruit as ready to eat.
