At least 85% Pinot Grigio in the vineyard

More than one Pinot Grigio style

The delle Venezie name includes rosato, ramato and sparkling versions.

Delle Venezie DOC recognizes Pinot Grigio, including rosato or ramato forms, and permits frizzante and spumante versions. Its Pinot Grigio wines require at least 85% of the grape in the vineyard base. The full label therefore matters: the variety’s name identifies the principal grape, while the style wording adds information about the named wine.

A northeastern Italian example

The delle Venezie grape area covers the autonomous province of Trento and the regions of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto. It is the territory of this denomination, offering a defined Italian example of Pinot Grigio’s use.
