A broad wine family among the hills
The Langhe name gathers different grapes and wine styles under a territorial denomination.
Langhe is a territorial denomination with a broad grape base. Its wines include reds and whites as well as named varieties such as Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Arneis and Favorita. Marl, limestone, sand and clay occur in different combinations across the hills. Created in 1994, the DOC brought these varied geological and climatic settings together under one name.
