Slow Food describes Cilentana goats grazing freely or under partly free-ranging management in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano park area. Their milk goes mainly into cacioricotta; light kid meat is another use of the animals. This is a livestock population with several coat types, rather than one finished preparation.
