Corvina and Rondinella are central to Bardolino Superiore’s grape base. The vineyards lie on moraine hills along the eastern side of Lake Garda, where soils are varied and often gravelly. Vines and olive groves occupy well-exposed slopes, while woods cover many northern aspects. The lake’s large body of water helps moderate the surrounding climate.
The required year begins November 1 of the production year. Its grape rules are distinct from those of Bardolino DOC.
The grape zone comprises whole or specified parts of municipalities in Verona province around the eastern Garda shore and its inland hills.
