Pecorino in the southern Marche hills

Offida Pecorino gives the grape a named white-wine role.

Pecorino is the principal grape of Offida Pecorino. The denomination’s territory reaches from the Adriatic coastal area into higher hills of the southern Marche. Deep soils and layers of sandy, clay-rich and conglomerate material form the vineyard ground. This named wine gives a concrete way to explore Pecorino through a particular Italian landscape.

The Offida Pecorino example

The grape zone covers whole or specified parts of listed municipalities in Ascoli Piceno and Fermo provinces, within the delimited Offida Pecorino area.
