Carema’s vineyards climb the slopes near the Valle d’Aosta border.
Carema’s setting is unusually tangible: dry-stone terraces and pergolas supported with chestnut wood. The specification describes vineyards on the slopes of Monte Maletto, in the northern Canavese. Nebbiolo is the principal grape. The structures used to support and cultivate the vines are part of what makes this small wine territory so recognizable.
